Q: How far in advance do I need to rent and be measured for a tuxedo?A: We recommend you visit the store nearest you to arrange a fitting as soon as you know the date of the event for which a tuxedo is needed. At least two weeks is required before the scheduled event. Q: Am I required to set up an appointment?A: No appointment is necessary. However, appointments are welcomed and we encourage you to call ahead to see when a good time is to stop in. Q: What if I need a tuxedo last minute?A: We recommend two weeks in advance, but we understand that last minute things come up that are out of your control. Visit any of our Lexington retail locations, and last minute orders can be processed without a problem. We cannot always guarantee availability on last minute orders; no one can. However, we can guarantee that you will leave with a tuxedo that fits perfectly, and satisfies any black tie need. Q: When can the tuxedo be picked up?A: Tuxedos are ready to be picked up two business days prior to the date of the event. As they become ready, customers will be contacted to return to the store for a final fitting. Early pick-up dates are possible when plans have been made in advance. Q: What happens if the tuxedo does not fit?A: Geno's Formal Affair's entire inventory is stocked right here in Lexington. All of our locations have an alterations department for minor adjustments, such as sleeve lengths or pant hems. Our staff is trained to fix these problems on the spot in minutes. If serious alterations are required, we'll simply pull a replacement order from our warehouse. This only takes 20 minutes, and either a driver will deliver it to your location or you can pick it up from our warehouse....it's that simple! Q: When does the tuxedo need to be returned.A: All tuxedos are due back the following business day at any of our retail store locations. Q: How can members of the wedding party get fitted that live in another city or out of state?A: Complimentary measurement postcards are provided at all store locations. You can take as many as you need to send to your groomsmen. Simply have them fill out the card and get measurements taken from a local formal wear specialist in their area. Then, drop the card in the mail to be sent back to us. You may also submit your measurements electronically using the submit your sizes link (recommended). Q: Are there tuxedos for little boys?A: We have a complete inventory of tuxedos for little boys all the way down to a size 3 and even size 2 in select styles. Add a ring bearer to your wedding party and we'll find his size. Q: What if I need my tuxedo for an extended period of time (i.e. Cruise)?A: We offer extended rentals at any time, as well as a specific year round cruise special.
